As Anastasia has said, she is absolutely right that the whole world now knows the name of
our city.
We have never thought that it would be so popular and especially in such conditions
unusual for us.
But still, everybody knows not just the name of the city, but also that it is a Ukrainian
city and that all the citizens have been fighting for the democracy and for their right to be
free and to be Ukrainian.
So as Anastasia has said, I'm Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Yershon State
University.
And today I will tell you our history of displacement and about just the university basic facts.
Maybe something if you have any questions after my presentation, you're welcome to ask
me of course.
So here is the emblem of our universities was founded in 1917.
It is one of the most oldest and prestigious universities in the south of Ukraine.
So just let me move the slides.
So actually here you can see the basic information about the university.
We have nine faculties and fifty specialties.
We have also separate programs for our postgraduate and postdoctoral students, scientific schools
and scientific journals.
And in the editorial board of our journals, we also have members of different European
countries.
And it is a great pleasure that our scholars can work in the field of science as well,
not only in the educational field.
So nowadays we have approximately four thousand students for seventy postgrad students.
And you can see the number of academic and non-academic staff of our university.
We have about forty partners of our university and we're still trying our best and doing
our best to implement different international projects and to be in touch with our partners
and colleagues who really support us nowadays.
So here are the faculties, the names and the emblems of the faculties of our university.
They are the Faculty of Computer Sciences, Physics and Mathematics, Faculty of Business
and Law, Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology, Medical Faculty, Faculty of Physical
Education and Sports, Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology and Journalism, Pedagogical
Faculty, Faculty of Psychology, Psychology, History and Sociology and Faculty of Culture
and Arts.
And just a few photos to demonstrate to you how beautiful Hirsorn city is and our university
is.
Thanks God the building is still safe.
It is not damaged, but Hirsorn is being attacked right now, nowadays, and we have no idea what
will happen tomorrow even.
But still the building is safe, it is beautiful and we like it very much.
On this picture you can see the main building and also the park of the university is just
in front of the main building and our students and academic and non-academic staff, so actually
everyone, every citizen of Hirsorn, they can walk in the park, enjoy the nature, just have
some rest.
We also have a beautiful swimming pool.
It is located just near the university, in the yard of the university.
It corresponds to all the Olympic demands.
The line, each line has 25 meters long and all our students, all faculties and all our
teachers, they can swim free of charge in the pool when they have free time.
Actually we have a schedule when they can visit the swimming pool and swim.
