Dear students, on behalf of all members of the university, I would like to welcome you

to our Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and congratulate you on deciding to join the

My name is Joachim Hornecker and I am currently the president of FAU.

Whichever subject you have chosen, you can be sure that your time at FAU will be inspiring

To help you settle in quickly to our and soon to be your FAU, I would like to extend a very
