Hello, I'm Leo and I study at the University of Erlangen in Nürnberg in Germany.

In this video I'll show you the CAMPO application, which is part of the application process here

at the FAU.

It all might seem a bit confusing at first, but don't worry, I'll guide you through it

click by click.

One more thing before we get started.

I strongly recommend you to read all steps before you start your application and to have

all your necessary documents ready.

That just makes it easier for you throughout the process.

Alright, let's do this.

Start by going to FAU's online application website CAMPO.

Simply type in campo.fau.de or click on the link below this video.

Go to the bottom of the page and switch to English.

Read the instructions on the start page carefully and if you should have any questions you can

get help here.

Next, click on the Applicants button.

Here you can find further information on undergraduate programs, master programs or on a Studienkolleg.

Before you can log in to CAMPO and start your application, you will need to create an IDM

account.

To do so, go to Register at IDM, which you find on the right side of the Applicants page.

There you will find a form that you have to fill in with your personal data, so make sure

everything is correct.

Now you just have to wait for a confirmation email, which will tell you further steps.

Make sure to not delete this IDM confirmation email because it contains important information

for your registration process.

Now set a new password.

After you have completed the IDM registration, you should be able to log in and request your

account for CAMPO.

Step 2.

Once you are able to log in to CAMPO with your new IDM account, you can start with your

online application.

You have now reached the main part of your application, which might take a while to complete.

To start a new application, click on Open Application Portal.

If in doubt, feel free to contact our student service IBZ.

To apply, select Add Request, then select your desired degree, subject and semester

and fill in the forms providing information on your educational background.

You will also have to enter your level of German language proficiency.

Double check your answers.

If all the information is correct, click Submit to send your online application.
