FAU's theme and all its websites will be completely redesigned.

Included are new

features and design elements.

Website contents will remain the same.

Only

layout and design will change.

With the new theme, essential information will be

presented more clearly and key surfaces will be easier to find.

Websites will be

responsive, meaning the layout automatically adapts to different screen

sizes and devices.

Our goal is to provide the best possible experience on desktop,

tablet and smartphone.

Adopting the new design on your website is mandatory, as

this was formally decided by the university management.

You can find an

overview of the most important layouts in Figma.

The link is available on the

project intranet website.

Texts and images shown in the Figma file are placeholders and not final.

Please refer

to the yellow notes for important information and updates. In this video,

we will walk you through the most important pages and their changes.

The

layouts in Figma are examples and do not cover all design possibilities.

Most

importantly

the design components you are already familiar with

such as

contacts

events

news and accordions

will remain available and will receive a

new design.

In addition, components like the list view will offer new variants.

For example, they can be displayed with or without images.

Most components can be

used on all page types and in any order

whether on a FAO

a faculty website or a

department website.

Only the header and colors are fixed.
