That's like the Goethe Institute all over the world from Germany.

The Confucius Institute, we have a special research day where all the Chinese PhD students

of my lab will talk about their research and at the end of the day we will go to a real

Chinese restaurant for dinner.

And I would like to invite you if you want to join us.

So we are in a very steep ascent now.

We talk about diagnostic medical image processing.

The story is for this semester basically what can we do with one image, what can we do with

multiple images and what can we do with multiple images from different sensors.

That's the storyline.

The first one, how can we improve single images.

We talked about pre-processing and you all know what we have considered in this context.

Image undistortion, defect pixel interpolation, bias field correction.

These were the topics we considered.

In particular in bias field correction we have seen various different algorithms.

The last two algorithms were important in a sense that it combined segmentation and
