Okay, you know the drill.
The first, in this case, nine minutes is the Tuesday quiz.
If anybody doesn't know what the URI is, I have it in very small up here.
Can't make it really bigger and we'll switch over.
So the quiz will start in less than a minute.
Nine minutes, duration all in all, it will start in less than a minute.
Okay, yes now?
Aha, maybe it's a minute late.
No, not working?
Okay, so then we will try again at five.
You know the drill from last week, this is embarrassing.
Okay then, what a pity we have to actually learn something about AI.
Okay, so, I should probably just manually, let us try something.
Can I manually start it?
Does it work for you now?
Not working for, okay, then I'll, shouldn't be working now.
Okay, good.
So, sorry, we have to look into this in a lot of detail.
We know why it didn't work last week.
I'm sure there are a couple of processes running wild on the server.
Okay, so, last week we talked about Prolog and I tried to convince you that
programming is not just imperative style, namely, do this, do this, do this, do this,
and so on and so forth, do this and that, but you can also think of programming as
declarative programming does, you describe the world and then you ask questions about the world.
You describe the world, say, in the axioms of multiplication or addition or both or so,
and you ask a question, is there a number that added to five gives you seven?
And we looked at list programming and all of those things and I hope that you've practiced
because we're going to do much of the homeworks in Prolog and there will be Prolog in the exams,
at least in the AI exam. Yes?
Enough. Enough so it hurts.
Okay? And most of you are under, well, no, most of your predecessors have embarrassingly
underperformed in Prolog. We try to make the Prolog very simple, but most people don't even attempt it.
So there is where 10%, i.e. something like two-thirds of a grade that people left lying around.
If you can afford it, fine. If not, pity.
There was a question back there somewhere?
Okay, it's not supposed to.
I'll just end it.
No, well, maybe.
Okay.
Okay, too late.
Let me see. 1705 sharp. That's what we're going to do.
Okay. So.
Any questions about Prolog other than how much is in the exam?
The honest answer to the question is I don't know yet. I didn't make the exam yet.
Oh, one thing I want to say about the exam also. We have already exam dates.
Those were given to me without asking me, so they're wrong.
They will be in April, as I announced. They're now in February, which is wrong.
Okay? So don't book your flights for those dates.
Any other questions? Yes.
Then the ones I have here? No.
