In the module, students will analyze, present and discuss research sub-topics in machine learning and human-robot interaction in rehabilitation and medical robotics. This includes issues in the control of prostheses, exoskeletons, and exo-suits for rehabilitation, clinical robots to aid walking and muscular recovery, surgical robotics, etc. 

Besides reflecting on contemporary literature, the students are asked to draw their own conclusions and suggest directions for future research.
