The lecture introduces Romberg Integration which applies Richardson extrapolation to Composite Trapezoidal Rule. It then starts the chapter on solving equations with one variable. Here we start with basic bisection method and continue towards fixed-point iteraion by introducing a basic theorem on fixed points.
