First, you can see our contact details.
This is the student advice and career service where Mr. Wittmann works at Halbmundstraße
and I work for the Department of Campus Management, both based in Erlangen.
Here you can see our support hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday, so every
day except for Friday.
What is our agenda?
I will give you an overview over the different systems at FAU for US students, not all of
them but the ones which are related to exams and courses.
Then we will show you how to set up your course scheduling company, how to register for courses
and how to register for exams.
You can see a small life cycle of a student at FAU.
First you apply for your studies, this is the step you did already.
You did this at Campo.
Then how to enroll and disembowel for courses.
You don't do this in Campo but you do it in Stuttgart.
But both systems are synchronized so you can see all the course data both in Stuttgart
and both in Campo.
But enrollment and disenrollment for courses is in Stuttgart, this has some technical reasons.
Then you enroll and disembowel for exams, you do that in Campo, not in Stuttgart, there's
nothing to do with Stuttgart.
So you do the exam registration in Campo.
This is really important that you have those things separated, courses and exams.
Then how to find different certificates, for example for Immatriculation certificates or
Transcripts of Records, you find this in Campo.
And if you decide not to continue your studies at FAU, which we don't hope, then you can
disenroll also via Campo.
This is just the most important steps that you go through as a student.
Here you can see as an overview work and you can see you can do everything in Campo except
for the enrollment and disenrollment of courses.
Here again with the logos, Campo, you can see what you can do there, study application,
you can search for your courses, course schedule, you can look at the course catalog of the
whole university, you can search for module descriptions, you get your grades and certificates
and you register and you register from exams.
Stuttgart has this logo, I can also show you the website of Stuttgart.
This looks like this here and Campo is obviously this platform and you have an IDM identifier.
This you have to use to log into Stuttgart and Campo.
IDM is this portal, the identity management portal.
This is used to log into all the different platforms at FAU.
Here again I can show you where you find some information like some guides on how to find
courses in Campo.
I put some links here but I will also show you where you can find those links just in
general in Stuttgart.
You can find different guides when you click on support, Stuttgart news and then you have
different articles.
The thing is mostly they are in German unfortunately for the Campo guides.
Those are also offered in English.
For example there is a guide on how to register for your exam and on your study planner.
Here is the overall site on Campo, it is on intern.fau.de.
You go to the section of students, this page is also available in English.
I am going to show you the English one.
