And now I'm going to let the floor to Frank Neumann.

Frank Neumann is going to first of all

he is from Emu Brussels and is a director or

co-founder of Emu prior to that

you are senior advisor European regulation at the Dutch

Ministry of Transport and Public Works

consultant at EECD

student policy science at the University

of Leiden

directorate in environmental management at Erasmus University of Rotterdam and was

a fellow at MIT in Princeton

environmental management

organizational science.

So Frank, I'll let you the floor for your presentation.

Thank you very much.

That was very kind, thank you.

Yes

so introducing also this European session as Robin said

we are very happy that everybody

is here together, not everybody in this session can be physically there but it seems that

online presentations work very well so in the end everybody that is listed in the program

is also in this discussion, we are very happy about that because these are very important

agencies for flight authorizations as also to promote of course the upscaling of LTA

technology.

Yes, maybe my presentation.

Where is the mouse?

The mouse is gone.

Oh, here.

This right?

Yes.

Full screen?

Thank you very much.

My presentation will be short a bit in view of the time.

Just some notions out of the kitchen of upscaling LTA technology together with startups and

scale-ups.

It's not an easy world because as other startup and scale-ups we also need to compete with

other sectors and also with larger organizations that are working on sustainable and cleaner

aviation.

So just some notions about this in the presentation.

Maybe very short with IMIU, we are working on upscaling of innovations and not only in

drone technology and aviation but also in renewable energy and maritime innovations.

The story with light and air technology started in 2015

2016 when we made a study what IMIU

could do in terms of innovation in the aviation sector and immediately came forward.

There was like a third or maybe even a fourth for some renaissance of light and air and

airship technology.

But this time it seemed to be very different because also there were a lot of initiatives

of unmanned airships.

So this is really different than the earlier waves of renaissance of airship technology.

And then actually after discussion with the help of DG Research of European Commission,
